The story of the Whitechapel murders is one of the great unsolved mysteries in the world. It is also one of the most fascinating and blood thirsty tales
you
will ever hear. It happened here in London in the year 1888. In the early hours of the 31st August 1888 a man is walking to work down a dark lane in Whitechapel, he sees a shapeless bundle lying on the ground near some gates, curious he goes over to investigate. His gruesome discovery of a murdered East End prostitute then started one of the most famous man hunts in the world, that Ripperologist's and amateur sleuth's to this day are still trying to work out the identity of
a man they called
Jack the Ripper.
Just over a week later a second prostitute is found butchered, London is thrown into a panic. Few people went out, the streets became deserted apart from the vigilante's trying to catch the killer before the Police. The Police dressed up as prostitutes hoping they would meet the killer in some dark alley and catch him before this got out of control.
Come on our tour of Whitechapel, walk the streets that Jack the Ripper made his own and feel the fear as you hear the story of the Whitechapel murderer. The tour will take you to where prostitutes were last seen alive, to where they drank and to where they were brutally and savagely murdered. We use photographs and newspaper clippings from 1888 as well as our expert delivery of the story, combined with your imagination to tell you the chilling tale of Jack the Ripper.
At the end of the tour once all the facts of the case have been delivered by your extremely knowledgeable guide, he will then offer you a theory of who Jack the Ripper was, this theory has been put together with the assistance of top profilers in one of the worlds leading criminal investigation teams, a fact sheet and map will be provided and then with one of the biggest twists in the tale, from that fact sheet you will see how good the theory is. Come along on the trail of Jack the Ripper...... if you dare.
